The Cathedral - Week 2 activity 1

Bula bloggers,
Today I am going to tell you the next   activity of the Summer learning Journey  but I am only on  week 2 and the first activity. The country that I chose  was England because I wanted to know what was the cathedral. And the cathedral  for England is St Paul's cathedral St Paul's cathedral was build ed in 40 years . I didn't know that it took that long to St Paul's cathedral that is amazing. St Paul's cathedral was built June 1675 that is really cool because I didn't know that it was buit a long time ago when I was not even born.

  1. Hey Mandita,

Wow! What a beautiful cathedral you’ve selected, well done on completing the activity. I like the the observation you shared about the cathedral being built before you were born. You are right that it was built a very long time ago, over 400 years in fact! Perhaps next time you could add a few more pictures, I think readers would’ve loved to see the inside of such a magnificent building.

I myself have always wanted to visit St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow, Russia. It looks like a fairytale castle and it’s quite striking, if you’re curious feel free to search it up. If you could visit any cathedral in the world, which would it be and why?

Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading more!

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.

  3. Kia ora Mandita,

What a beautiful cathedral St Paul's is. Wow, that is so interesting that it was built in 1675. How long do you think it would have takento build this magnificent building. In the 1600's I doubt they would have had crane and electric drills to help construct the place. What tools do you think the builders would have used?

I was lucky ennough to visit St Paul's Cathedral when I was living in England. It is far more spectacular in person as the details on the inside are incredible. It would be amazing if youever had the opportunity to visit Englad and St Paul's Cathedral.

It would be awesome to read another amazing blog from you. I will keep an eye and look forward to hearing from you.

    Have a beautiful day,
    Megan

  4. Kia Ora Mandita,

Thanks for sharing an awesome post! That is a stunning Cathedral! I’m curious, how did you find this? Did you come across it on google or maybe you have been there before?

The name sounds familiar… Is it famous for something in particular? I wonder what the interior (inside) looks like?

    Awesome work Mandita!

    Have a great day,

    Cadence :)
